PESHAWAR: The Frontier Foundation Haematology Services recently organized a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Frontier Foundation Kohat Centre. In addition, a medical camp was held where children with thalassemia, haemophilia, and other blood-related disorders were examined and provided with free medication, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Director (Finance and Planning) Reena Soharwardi, Frontier Foundation Administrator Dr Fakhar Zaman, Kohat Mayor Qari Sher Zaman, district director of Social Welfare Amjad Afridi, and other dignitaries.
During the event, Sahibzada Muhammad Ismail, the In-charge of Frontier Foundation Kohat Centre, provided an overview of the center's activities and the services offered to patients. He highlighted that a total of 750 patients suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia, and other blood-related disorders have received free medication. He also mentioned that similar facilities and medication are available at the Peshawar and Swat centers.
Sahibzada Muhammad Ismail emphasized that their mission is to provide free thalassemia treatment in Pakistan, and they are confident that this goal can be achieved with the continued support and cooperation of the community.
